Details:
9617d eaton Yale towne dc pump motor for an electric lift truck 24 v part MGP-2 remanufactured very heavy to ship. Tested and guaranteed. The field housing was bead blasted and painted. The armature was washed in solvent, tested for shorts to ground, on a growler open winding's, dipped varnish and baked.
The fields were removed from field housing and washed in solvent. All new brushes springs were installed in the holder. There is no documentation or certifications with this motor. The motor was completely disassembled.
The brush holder was cleaned checked for structural integrity and re-riveted as necessary. The brass hardware was replaced as needed. New bearings were installed on the armature in rear end cap.
At this point if there would have been any anomalies the motor opened up process repeated until it was right. It was then tested with a meg-ohm meter. Then the commutator was turned in lathe mica undercut. All new insulation was installed in the housing and terminal insulators replaced with.
